DIGITAL IMAGE FORMATS are the ways in which images are represented for storage. We are talking about digitization formats and how the pixels that make up BITMAP images are digitally stored. Each image format has its own methodology for storing pixels and image information. They all have strengths, but also disadvantages. Knowing them in detail will help us to be more efficient from the design programs to always obtain the best possible result.
