On a warm August day, I took a walk around the Great Brombachsee in the Franconian Lake District. I also passed the Pleinfeld cultural and tourist information center and was wonderfully provided with maps and information for an upcoming marathon. Link to the tourist information center below. The Brombachsee is very child-friendly. I particularly liked the beautiful beaches and bays and also the fact that pedestrians and cyclists travel on separate paths for long stretches.
