Even in the last autumn month, mid-November, some edible mushrooms can still be found! Mushroom picking in 2024 was difficult at times, especially in early autumn. But now, in the final stretch of the mushroom season, great porcini mushrooms, chanterelles and even oyster mushrooms can be found again! I was particularly pleased with the chanterelles I found on my mushroom tour: the trumpet chanterelles and especially the large quantities of trumpet mushrooms. A polypore found on an oak tree is causing some conjecture! Are we dealing with the rare and super tasty maidake mushrooms here? I would need your help in the comments.
