From April 19 to October 13, 2024, we as the Kötzschau Railway Museum presented our exhibition on one of the first German railways at the 5th Saxony-Anhalt State Garden Show in Bad Dürrenberg: the Tollwitz-Dürrenberger Railway, the coal railway of the Bad Dürrenberg saltworks. Former route sections and the tunnel of this railway were part of the garden show grounds, which is why we were able to show the history of this railway, which opened in 1836, to a huge interested audience on site.
