In Reichenwalde, Brandenburg, the world's largest mobile work machine is used in open-cast mining: the F60 overburden conveyor bridge. Since the 1970s, the metal colossus has been transporting up to 90,000 tons of earth per shift to expose brown coal. The F60 thus takes on an essential part of coal extraction, and surrounding power plants depend on it. Our documentary presents the gigantic device and explains how the overburden bridge works.
