Webinar with Dario Ianes, Giovanni Simoneschi, Heidrun Demo Legislative decrees no. 66/2017 and no. 96/2019 underline the need for particular attention to the role of contextual factors in positively or negatively influencing the functioning and participation of the student. This attention is further emphasized in the Interministerial Decree "Adoption of the national model of Individualized Educational Plan" no. 182 of 29/12/2020. In fact, we know well how a facilitating or "barrier" context can radically change the functioning, learning, participation, but also the well-being of the student. To understand the role played by facilitators and barriers within the contexts of the student's life, it is necessary to start an observation and reflection in a bio-psycho-social perspective. How to analyze the context, identifying the role played by facilitators and barriers? What kind of facilitators exist? And which barriers? What kind of influence can they have on the ability and performance of a student in the different domains? We continue the information and reflection action on the new PEI with the participation of: Dario Ianes, professor of pedagogy and didactics of inclusion and co-founder of Erickson Giovanni Simoneschi, Headmaster at a primary school in Rome Heidrun Demo, Associate Professor of Didactics and Special Pedagogy and Director of the Competence Center for School Inclusion of the Free University of Bolzano.
