In this MSI Cubi 5 10M review I tried to stress the 4-core Intel Core i7-10510U CPU on both Windows 10 Pro and Linux to find traces of thermal throttling. But the #MiniPC never went into crisis and showed a very conservative setting for consumption and temperatures. Cubi 5 is a small computer ideal for companies and offices, so it remains cool and silent in any context. Final review: • https://riccardo.im/recensioni/msi-cu... Among the advantages of #MSI Cubi 5 is the possibility of upgrading: you can add up to 64 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM and two disks (PCI-E M2 + SATA3 2.5 inches), and you can change the Wi-Fi card. There are compromises in the type of ports (no Thunderbolt 3 but USB-C 3.2, and no SD reader) but these are constraints that do not bother in the office or company. Something different: • / riccardopalombo Indicative prices start at 300 euros for the configuration without a disk, without RAM and without an operating system based on an Intel Core i3 Comet Lake-U processor. It goes up to 400 euros for the Core i5 and 500 euros for the Core i7 Quad Core of my configuration. I recommend reading the final review on the site for all the technical information, tables, high-resolution graphs and comparisons with other Mini PCs such as #IntelNUC.
