How to perform a tune-up on a Nissan Tiida, Versa, which includes as part of the procedure, changing the spark plugs, washing the injectors and throttle body, the fuel pump is also removed to wash the filter or sieve. Unfortunately, the design of the engine of this car makes this maintenance service a bit complicated and time-consuming. To access the spark plugs, the intake manifold must be removed, and since it does not have an external fuel filter, it is necessary to remove the fuel pump from the tank in order to clean or change the fuel filter as necessary. The spark plug replacement interval for this car is 100,000 kilometers according to the manufacturer and it has double platinum spark plugs that are not very cheap, depending on the brand they can be around 200 pesos per spark plug. When washing the throttle body in these vehicles, the calibration of the butterfly position is lost, this causes the revolutions to be unstable at idle and it is necessary to re-calibrate the throttle body to control this. Calibration is done with a good diagnostic equipment (scanner) I could not show you the procedure in the video due to lack of that scanner at that time. I did not do the injector washing myself but I took the injectors to a laboratory where they were washed by ultrasound and reverse flow.
