Rub ready! Smokey BBQ sauce Ingredients 50 ml apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp soy sauce 30 ml Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp apple syrup 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 2 tsp smoked paprika powder 2 tsp Korean pepper flakes 250 ml ketchup 1 For the sauce, put the vinegar, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a pan and bring to a simmer. Add the sugar, apple syrup and spices. Let everything dissolve and then add the ketchup. Let it reduce on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Done! Ribs for your McRib Ingredients 2 racks of spareribs 100 ml apple cider vinegar (50 ml per rack) 1 Remove the membrane from your spareribs with a spoon and plunk your rub over your ribs and smear and massage everything in nicely. Preheat oven to cream setting 150. 2 Tear off two large pieces of foil just bigger than 1 rack of your ribs and let them overlap. Throw your 1 rack of your spareribs on top and sprinkle 50 ml of apple cider vinegar over it and then wrap them up well. MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T LEAK! 3 Throw your ribs in the oven and let them chill for +/- 3 to 3 1/2 hours. 4 Time up? Take them out of the oven, pull off the foil and carefully pull out the bones without tearing the meat! Brush them on both sides with your BBQ sauce and make sure the grill setting of your oven is on (only the grill on top). Place your ribs on a baking tray and put them under your grill for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, take them out and brush them again and let them grill for another 2 minutes. 5 Spareribs ready! Cut your spareribs the same size as 1 bun so that it fits nicely. McRib Bun Ingredients 350 ml lukewarm water 7 gr instant yeast 15 gr sugar 550 gr patent flour 7 gr salt 40 gr unsalted butter 40 gr sesame seeds 1 Pound your flour, sugar and yeast together and mix this in a mixer. Now throw in your lukewarm water together with your salt and mix this in about 10 minutes until a smooth dough ball. Once it is a dough ball, flick in your butter one tablespoon at a time until it is completely absorbed and only then add the next tablespoon of butter, you do this until all your butter is used up. 3 Remove your dough from your bowl onto a work surface sprinkled with some flour and form it into a nice ball. 4 Grease a bowl with some oil, throw your ball in and cover with cling film. Now let your dough rest for 1 to 1.5 hours until it has approximately doubled in size. 5 Rised? Knock out the air a bit and make 6 balls of about 150 gr each and shape them nicely. Then roll them out into a long turd of about 15 cm long. 6 Roll the tops through some sesame seeds and place them on a baking tray with some baking paper, cover them with some kitchen foil and let them rise for 1/2 hour. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees. 7 Completely risen? Make a small cut in each bun from point to point and spray them very lightly with some water and pop them in the oven, spray a little more water in the oven itself and let your buns bake for 15 to 20 minutes 8 Buns ready! Cut them open, spread them with some butter and toast them briefly for a nice color in a pan. Yummy man, ready for your ribs. Toppings Ingredients 1 onion, thinly sliced 4 gherkins, thinly sliced 1 Cut your onions very thinly and cut your gherkins lengthwise into thin slices. 2 Spread some sauce on your toasted bun, then throw a piece of spareribs on top and then throw your onions and pickles on top with the top piece of your bread 3 Mcrib ready for your mouth!
