She worked in a bakery to bridge the time until her entrance exam with the federal police. She has a good relationship with the branch manager Ms. K. But on that day, during an early shift, her boss suddenly pulls out a large butcher's knife and stabs the 20 cm long blade into Gizem's lower abdomen, saying "I'm sorry!" The then 19-year-old seeks help from a customer, while her boss tries to make it look like an accident. Gizem is taken to hospital and fights for her life: 23 blood transfusions, two emergency operations and two cardiac arrests. Her chance of survival is 10 percent! When she wakes up from a coma in the intensive care unit, she is told that she had had a serious accident at work. But Gizem knows: This is not an accident, this is attempted murder! She manages to inform the police about the crime. How does it feel to be the victim of a knife attack? And why did Ms. K. do it? Gizem reports what the police have investigated and what the perpetrator has been sentenced to.
