Stretching and myofascial release of the pectoralis minor. The pectoralis minor is a muscle whose function is to depress the shoulder and rotate the scapula downward, while the other part elevates the ribs during inhalation. When this muscle is in a state of “hyperprogramming”, it can generate small joint restrictions that coapt the same. The shoulders tend to project forward, giving that closed forward posture. In the video I show some options for stretching and myofascial release that will work very well in combination with the resistance exercises that we practice.
