I want to install a shower in the basement and therefore need a DN110 branch in the sewer pipe. However, if you buy something via the link, I benefit from it and say thank you! I am building a double sliding sleeve in order to install the branch later. In general, there don't seem to be any long sleeves in KG, only in HT. However, this is not suitable for the ground, except when it is set in concrete. Since this will not be the case in my case, HT is not suitable. Another option that I did not mention in the video would be an adhesive branch. I have never seen or done this before and it is relatively expensive, but would probably work. I got the parts for my solution from the hardware store around the corner. The cost for everything was around 20 euros. I also replaced the 40-year-old seals on the old pipe so that they are completely watertight again. It is important to lubricate everything properly with lubricant so that the seals are not damaged when putting them together and of course it is easier that way too. The multi-tool worked well to remove the old pipe. After assembly, I waited another day before filling everything in again to see if the sewage pipe was watertight. Everything worked out and I embedded the pipe in sand again, compacted it, put foil over it and concrete. I'm happy that everything went so well and I'm getting back to work on renovating the bathroom. That's sewer construction! :-) This is how the pros do it: • # STEP FIVE # Subsequent installation of a... Here as an Instagram Reel: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0EGDz...
