In this video, I have prepared for you a talk about sugar and whether it is really such an evil that causes us addiction, insulin fluctuations, insulin resistance and, last but not least, obesity. Nowadays it is quite popular to talk about the need to eliminate some food component. Notice how many books are published today about the fact that we should omit gluten from our diet, that it is dangerous, or sugar, because it is a poison and a killer, or we even often read that we should exclude carbohydrates from our diet completely, which books promoting the keto diet tell us. It's pretty good business to promote such claims these days, because a lot of people hear these words. People like to believe that this or that component of food is to blame for their overweight, rather than admitting that the problem is mainly that they eat too much or too little. And before you turn off this video saying I'm crazy and trying to promote sugar, please listen to this whole conversation. I am certainly not a supporter of sugar, but it bothers me that there are many misconceptions about it and it is spoken of as the greatest evil, and I would like to set things straight in this video.
