How does the TPS potentiometer work? It determines whether the fuel consumption will be high or normal. I already have a video on how to set up single injection and TPS. In this video, I want to show how it works and why incorrect operation increases fuel consumption. And this happens because the ECU learns about the position of the throttle valve from this sensor. The greater the angle the throttle valve opens, the more fuel needs to be supplied to the combustion chamber. When the valve opens, the TPS increases the voltage and the ECU, also focusing on the readings of the coolant temperature sensor, oxygen sensor and DTVV, sends a signal to open the injector.
