Commentary Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi, who will be celebrating his 40th anniversary of his debut in 2019, has starred in his first film since "Eiji" (1999). Kawasaki Shingo is a carpenter with a deep humanity and divine skills. Kawasaki lives happily with his teenage daughter and reliable wife, but he is weak when it comes to women he likes. As Kawasaki works hard at his job site, he is passed by Ikeda Mei, a saleswoman for an insurance company. Mei is a single mother who lives with her only son, Tatsuo, and Kawasaki is curious about Tatsuo, who grew up without knowing his father. Kawasaki tries to get close to Tatsuo, saying, "I'll make him a man!", and the distance between the two men gradually becomes closer. Then, when Kawasaki decides to build a house for Mei and Tatsuo, a man who claims to be Tatsuo's father appears in front of him... Nagabuchi plays the role of Kawasaki, the mischievous and passionate, but somehow lovable protagonist. The director is Hajime Konno, who also directed "TRASH" and "Aragure."
