Excursion of June 8, 2022. Beautiful circular excursion, about 19 km, in the Val Grande national park, in the company of Fausto. Departure from Fondo li Gabbi, in Val Loana (side of Val Vigezzo, in Ossola, Piedmont). Itinerary: Fondo li Gabbi - Cortenuovo alp - Terza chapel - Scaredi alp - Campo pass - entrance to the Strette del Casè - Cortechiuso pass - Cimone di Cortechiuso - la Forcola - Loana alp - Fondo li Gabbi. Over 7 hours of walking, in a rugged, panoramic and varied environment, along crests and woods, where chamois and other animals of the park live undisturbed. A strong and unforgettable experience. Route for expert hikers, on some airy and equipped sections, which sees the presence of 2 bivouacs. Great emotion to find yourself in front of the Pedum, at the entrance to the Strette del Casè.
