The railway line between Schwarzenberg and Annaberg-Buchholz, which has now fortunately been put back into operation, is one of the most beautiful railway lines that runs through the Ore Mountains. On September 27, 1997, local rail passenger services on this line were discontinued. This meant that rail operations were suspended for several years.
