In a world where environmental performance is no longer an option, eco-design is becoming a strategic lever for companies. On the one hand, because such an approach allows for a better understanding of its impacts, which feeds into transparency obligations (environmental display, CSRD reporting exercise); on the other hand, it allows for targeted actions to be taken to improve its environmental performance, particularly as part of a decarbonization strategy. However, thinking about and implementing an eco-design approach requires mobilizing new skills for the company and therefore training teams from different professions.
