In the "Contemporary Witnesses" series, those involved in the South Tyrolean freedom struggle of the 1960s talk about their experiences. In the interview published here, Sepp Forer, born in 1940, has his say. Forer was one of the four freedom fighters who went down in history as the "Puschtra Buabm". Sepp Forer is still unable to return to his beloved homeland. He was not even allowed to attend his mother's funeral in June 2012. In a detailed interview with filmmaker Franz Haller, Sepp Forer describes his beginnings in the resistance and talks about the actions of the "Puschtra Buabm". The "Contemporary Witnesses" series is supported by the "South Tyrolean Homeland Association".
