The surveillance cameras on the Vanši bridge, worth almost 50 thousand euros, have not stopped a young man from repeatedly climbing up to the very top of the bridge. True, to reach the top of the bridge, he did not use ropes like several of his predecessors, but stairs. While the Riga City Council filed a complaint with the police and states that the young man broke the entrance door in one of the bridge supports, the climber himself admits that there were no obstacles preventing access to the stairs inside the bridge support.
