The Casati e Guasti refuge 3254 m is located in the Ortles-Cevedale Group with the largest glacier in Europe. The refuge is located in the heart of the Stelvio National Park in a strategic position for the many routes on the glacier and for the breathtaking view of Val Martello, Val Cedec and Solda. The itinerary we propose starts from the Valle dei Forni car park, goes up along Val Cedec, passes by the Pizzini refuge and arrives at the Casati refuge. During the route you will have a beautiful view: in the first section on the Forni Glacier and then on the Zebrù peak. Route From the Valle dei Forni car park (2141 m) you go up to the Forni refuge (2175 m) and here you take the 555 signpost which will take you to the Pizzini - Frattola refuge (2706 m). Here you follow the 528 path arriving at the Casati refuge (3254 m). You return along the same road to the Pizzini Refuge and then you return along the panoramic path 528.
