Entrance to the Gates • Entrance to the Gates / AMAN The Journey of the Combat Officer of the Brazilian Army begins through a public competition, the EsPCEx. Upon passing all stages, the candidate enters the Preparatory School for Army Cadets. And after a period of 1 year, the student then leaves for AMAN, the Military Academy of Agulhas Negras, where he will in fact become a Cadet of the Brazilian Army. There they remain with the name Student until completing the adaptation period of the Basic Course, the first year of AMAN. At the end of this period, they go through a ceremony where they receive the insignia that identify the Cadet of the 1st year of AMAN. This video takes place in 2019, the year of the admission of the second class of women to the course, with AMAN under the command of Gen. Dutra.
