The Seiganji Temple Front Folding Screen, a little-known masterpiece painted by Iwasa Matabei, has been completely dismantled and repaired. The entire repair process, which took place over a period of three years from 2018, was filmed and made into a documentary film. Iwasa Matabei's Seiganji Temple Front Folding Screen is currently on display at the Museum of Kyoto as part of a special exhibition entitled "The Blooming Culture of the Townspeople: The Face of Early Modern Kyoto."
