We'll show you a lovely day trip around the Maasplassen. We start in Roermond at the Norderplas. Then we continue via Linne, Maasbracht and Stevensweert. We reach Kessenich in Belgium via the Grenzmaas. We return to the starting point via Thorn and Heel. The whole route is 51 kilometres long, just the right distance for a day trip. We were on the road for around six hours. The driving time was 3 hours and 15 minutes at an average speed of 15.5 kilometres per hour. There were no significant climbs. We found the tour to be very varied. We particularly like routes along the water. Wonderful. There are plenty of places to stop for a break. The signage is top-notch, as expected. We only missed a turn once in Ophoven, it's unclear whether this was due to a lack of signage or our lack of attention. We used the following junctions as a guide, starting from the Norderplas: 94 83 64 82 92 18 36 37 11 10 39 01 22 21 53 33 52 42 35 84 93 94 We created the route with www.fietsknoop.nl From this we created the following document for printing. Small detours, e.g. to the Roermond market square or the small ferry to Oolderhuuske are not included there. We have also uploaded the route to Komoot: https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/160...
