English:Visit the facebook page: / 130900686948813 ...and the website: http://mrfrecciarossa.jimdo.com/ Imperia Porto Maurizio station was a railway station located on the Genova-Ventimiglia railway line, open to the public since 1872 in conjunction with the inauguration of the section connecting Savona to Ventimiglia and closed from 28 November 2016 for the completion of work on the new double-track route located upstream. Initially equipped with 3 tracks, in the last years of service the third track was dismantled. The station was served by regional trains to and from Ventimiglia and Savona, and by all the Intercity trains that ran on the Genova - Ventimiglia line. In the video I wanted to freeze in time some moments of ordinary daily life, without missing any detail of this now historic building. Enjoy the view! It was opened to the public in 1872 when Savona-Ventimiglia line was inaugurated, and was closed on the 28th of November 2016 because of the activation of the new double track railway line between Andora and S.Lorenzo al Mare. Once upon a time the station had 3 platforms but during the last years of service the 3rd platform was dismantled. The station was served by regional trains from and to Ventimiglia and Savona and by all Intercity trains which traveled on Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line.
