Slow lorises are strange and eccentric monkeys that live in the jungles of Kalimantan (Borneo). They are "forest ninjas" that move slowly to disappear. In order to closely observe their ecology, we built the "Borneo Studio" at Akasaka TBS and borrowed two captive slow lorises to film them. They have flat claws on their fingers and uniquely shaped palms. Their eyes are very large, and the size of the eyes on their face is 0.232% (for humans, the size is 0.013%, so it is 20 times larger). If you put a cricket on them, they will tilt their head and observe it. In fact, this monkey has a second tongue, and they use it to do some clever things. The narration for this episode is by announcers Takayuki Hasumi and Ayako Uemura! *This is a remake of the episode that aired on "Animals are Amazing!" in February 1998. ■Recommended videos [Animal trivia] If you give a bear soy sauce, it will suddenly start dancing [Fantastic Animals/WAKUWAKU] URL: • [Animal trivia] If you give a bear soy sauce, it will suddenly start dancing [Fantastic Animals/Wakuwaku] URL: • [A horde of them disappears in an instant] The mysterious biology of the strange crab, the brown crab [Fantastic Animals/WAKUWAKU] URL: • [A horde of them disappears in an instant] The mysterious biology of the strange crab, the brown crab [Animal... Videos from "Amazing Animals!" (1993-2009), "Wakuwaku Animal Land" (1983-1992), "3.8 Billion Years of Life Special" (1997-) and other shows have been re-edited and released as the official YouTube channel. You'll be amazed by the wisdom and athletic ability of animals, cry at the love between parents and children, and be overwhelmed by the energy they use to survive in the great outdoors, where life and death are just a hair's breadth apart... We would be very happy if as many people as possible would open their eyes to the world of living things and come to love animals.
