Meet the Missionaries! https://business.form-mailer.jp/lp/4a... On March 11, 2011, an earthquake and tsunami of a scale beyond people's imagination caused devastating damage to eastern Japan. Thousands of homes, jobs, and lives were lost, and the effects are still continuing today. "Flowers Bloom" is a heartfelt message to the victims, and a symbol of hope and strength for the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. The missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in Tohoku sang this song while thinking about the sorrow of losing loved ones, the pain of having important things destroyed, and the regret of having their aspirations taken away. Young missionaries from various countries dedicate their lives and time to work for free for one and a half to two years. The "purpose of life" that they convey provides comfort and healing to many people. Their singing voices and expressions are full of hope and love. The messages the missionaries deliver, full of kindness and passion, teach the people of Tohoku about the purpose of life and the happiness of individuals and families. https://business.form-mailer.jp/lp/4a... Please listen carefully to their messages. Meeting them will be an unforgettable experience for you. And it will surely be a precious moment that will greatly change your life. Why not meet the missionaries? Meet the Missionaries! https://business.form-mailer.jp/lp/4a... In the early afternoon of March 11, 2011, a magnitude 9.0 earthquake and subsequent tsunami devastated Eastern Japan, causing widespread destruction. This disaster resulted in the loss of thousands of homes, businesses, and lives, the effects of which are still felt to this day. Written from the perspective of those who passed that day, “Hana Wa Saku” (Flowers Will Bloom) is a heartfelt message to those family and friends who survived the tragedy. “Hana Wa Saku” has become a symbol of hope and strength for those united in Eastern Japan's recovery. Last year, nearly 100 missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints created a video in remembrance of those afflicted by the March 11th disaster. These missionaries include senior couples and young adults who serve as volunteers for between a year and a half to two years. These missionaries are assigned to different areas within the Tohoku region of Eastern Japan. As part of their services, they share a message of eternal hope and love centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ. This year, these missionaries came together once again to honor the strength and fortitude displayed amid the crisis. Gathering at the Japan Sendai Train Station, these missionaries performed the song again as a “flash mob”, and invite all to join in remembrance of those who are to this day remembered and loved. If you would like to know why these missionaries have so much hope, and what their message is, please feel free to visit the website and make an appointment to meet! Here is the English translation of the lyrics: My heart goes out to you when the winter snows gives way to spring. My heart is longing now, longing for the town where happiness had been. Been a place of hope and of dreaming too, been a home where my heart always went back to you. But, for now I only dream of the people who I loved and knew. Someone is singing, I can hear singing now. Someone is weeping, I can feel their tears. Someone is smiling, showing me why and how to go on living for years and years. Flowers will bloom, yes they will..., yes they will for you who are here or yet to be born. They'll bloom, yes they will, and they'll bloom again until there's no missing sorrow and no reason left to mourn. My heart goes out to you when the morning sun lights up the pale blue sky. My heart is heavy now with the grief I tried so often to deny. I regret mistakes that I sometimes made. But I know our love will never fade and that you'll live on instead of me and that you will have whatever love can be. Someone is thinking, I can read every thought, someone is shedding tears for all that was lost. Someone is leading you to love that they sought, asking you to love all that you love the most. Flowers will bloom, yes they will..., yes they will for you who are here or yet to be born. Yes they will..., yes they will for you who are here or yet to be born. They'll bloom, yes they will, and they'll bloom again until there's no missing sorrow and no reason left to mourn. Flowers will bloom, yes they will..., yes they will for you who are here or yet to be born. They'll bloom, yes they will, and they'll bloom again until you'll live and remember and love us forever more. You'll live and remember and love us forever more. When the winter snows give way to spring. #Let's do our best Tohoku #March 11th #8 years since the earthquake disaster #Let's do our best Japan #Tohoku #FlowersWillBloom #HanaWaSaku #FlowersWillBloom
