Here you can see a ride on a Deutsche Bahn Intercity from Hanover to Bad Bentheim. It is the old DB long-distance train with a class 101. These locomotives will soon be retired and the trains will be temporarily hauled by a Vectron multi-system from the Dutch State Railways in order to avoid the time-consuming locomotive change in Bad Bentheim. The changeover from German to Dutch personnel will then take place in Rheine. A word about the zoom of the recording. The images you see here are very much based on the driver's perspective. So you don't have the extreme wide angle that a wasp might see, but you see what a train driver sees when he looks out of the window during a train ride. I realize that the recordings look slower, but that's just how they look. The speed is the same - I promise! Enjoy watching!
