Here you can see an article about the good old BR101 of the DB long-distance transport. It is the workhorse for passenger trains and has a pulling power that I am always amazed at. I myself always enjoy driving this locomotive and am impressed by how much power a four-axle locomotive can put on the rails. Its large wheels give it unrivalled running characteristics. The low center of gravity due to the low-lying drawbars also means that it never leaves a train standing still. A real workhorse that is also incredibly fast. Beautiful locomotive!
