A nice mix of my Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga classes, which I often teach in studios. The class is primarily intended for advanced and intermediate students. We start with a short warm-up, followed by the classic sun salutations and then a few standing poses from the basic sequence. After that, it gets a bit more creative with the crow (Bakasana) and a few other balance and strengthening exercises, as well as sitting poses from the primary series. Then we add two backbends from the 2nd series (Salabhasana and Dhanurasana) before we come to a slightly modified final sequence - with, among others, Urdhva Dhanurasana and the headstand (Sirsasana).
