Frankenwaldbahn: In the period from July 23rd, 2024 to July 31st, 2024, we went to the local Frankenwaldbahn again. The weather was almost always good and the train traffic was colorful and varied. In addition to the many standard trains, I was also able to capture some special features. For example, 155 219 with tank wagon train, TXL Offroad Vectron 193 555 with semi-trailer, SETG Beethoven Vectron 193 218 with empty wood train, Westbahn DEMU2 multiple unit as a transfer run, RTB Cargo Smartron with tank wagon train, several Stadler Euro Dual BR 159 with various freight trains and other private railway companies passed by. Furthermore, a WFL replacement train (RE 80 Treuchtlingen - Würzburg) with BR 143 was also on the move as a transfer run. Two special eye-catchers were of course the PRESS 185 with yellow empty timber transport wagons and 159 238 BELog / Schwenk / ELP with GATX bulk goods wagons. The filming took place between Hochstadt-Marktzeuln and Probstzella at the well-known film and photo locations, which are briefly shown in the video.
