Day 1. Floor surfaces Preparation: Grind, mill and clean floor surfaces. Tools: Concrete grinder. Stick adhesive tape and lay edge insulation strips. Material: Expansion joint tape. Stick masking paper or masking tape film to the wall with self-adhesive strips. Prepare the mixing area Fill the separating joints in the screed: When the cracks and joints are widened, free and clean, you can place the screed connectors in the transverse joints and fill them with Remmers Epoxy ST 100 primer + setting agent. Prime the floor surfaces with Epoxy ST 100. Consumption approx. 350g/m². Tools: Day 2. Scratch filler: Mix Remmers Epoxy Primer PF + Selectmix 1/3 (quartz sand) together and spread evenly over the floor with the smoothing trowel. Consumption approx. 1.0-1.2kg/m² Day 3. Epoxy floor coating with a metallic look: Roughen and clean the floor surfaces with 100 grit sandpaper. Coat the floor surfaces. Mixing ratio for 10 sqm, for example. 10 kg 2K Epoxy UV 100 (A component) + 500 ml Metalufloor Chartreux (mix for approx. 1 minute) + 5 kg hardener (mix for 3 minutes) + 15 kg Selectmix SBL (and mix for another 2 minutes) and pour immediately onto the floor. Then distribute the product evenly using a 60 cm wide notched squeegee with a tooth height of approx. 3.8-4.0 mm. After approx. 5 minutes of coating the floor, smooth with a smoothing trowel. Coverage 30.5 kg on approx. 10-10.5 m² Day 4. Remmers PUR Aqua Top 500 2K M Sealant: First coat. Consumption per work step: 0.1-0.12 kg/m² After the 4-5 hour drying time, cut the joints, clean them, tape off the joint edges and apply PU sealant. Day 5. Second coat. Finish!
