On June 9th and 10th, 2021, I took a tour of the Geislinger Steige between Geislingen (Steige) and Amstetten on the route between Stuttgart and Ulm (- Munich). In addition to ICs, which roared hard up the climbs with BR 218 in double traction, there were pushed-on freight trains, nature and lots of railways to see. The entire trip is divided into five films. If you watch these films, it is an advantage if you watch them in order, otherwise there will sometimes be breaks in time and place, or the meaning of my explanations will disappear.
