Bob Wells lives in a converted ambulance. He is a modern nomad - for more than 25 years. His lifestyle is an expression of his freedom, he says. But many Americans have to live like this in order to survive at all. He wants to encourage them. In the USA, between one and three million people live in their vehicles. Estimates - counting nomads is difficult. Some are on the streets voluntarily. Many because they could no longer pay their rent. And there could be many more, especially after Corona: 3.6 million people in the USA are affected by evictions. Sal and Rebecca Salahuddin chose the camper life: They quit their jobs with the police, wanted to break out of the cycle of stress, lack of sleep and overwork. As a YouTuber, he is now also a contact person for the community and those who want to be part of it. He could even afford a house, but he doesn't want that.
