Olena Mityurina from the village of Oleksandriyske, based on old photographs she finds from old-timers in the Kirovohrad region, recreates traditional wax wreaths for this region. The tradition of making wreaths from wax came to Ukraine from Europe in the mid-19th century from Queen Victoria of Great Britain. She wore a wreath of tangerine flowers for her wedding.
