It's already December, but I still can't give up on autumn being over, so this is my last "Autumn Vlog"! (lol) At the end of autumn, I went to the "Monet Exhibition" held at the National Museum of Western Art in Ueno, Tokyo. I knew the name, but I had never thought about going to see it. In the midst of all this, I came across the book "Find Your Own Answers: Art Thinking from the Age of 13", which I introduced in the video, and had the opportunity to learn how to think about enjoying art. For me, who has lived my life not enjoying going to art museums because I thought "I don't understand art", it was a huge shock. There is still a lot to learn even as an adult. ◯ Oh, that's right! There was an interesting change in the postcard of "Sunrise over the Seine" that I bought as a souvenir. When I bought the postcard and took the video at home, it was still before evening and the room was bright, so the picture didn't look bright to me, but when I hung it in the entrance where there was no light, I saw a faint orange color in the dark colors. It was exactly the "sunrise" scene. From there, I was able to see the picture of "Morning on the Seine" which is the scene a little after sunrise while looking at the picture of the postcard "Sunrise on the Seine". I was exhausted when I left the museum and thought "I didn't have a good experience this time," but I was able to find my own answer that maybe this is also one of the things that makes you enjoy art. If I find another art piece that interests me, I'll visit the museum. Next time, I'll do it in a place where I can look at it a little more calmly! (laughs)
