In this video I explain the difference between affine function, linear function, first-degree function, identity function and constant function. They all represent LINES on the Cartesian plane, but with some special characteristics. Affine Function: Any function whose graph is a line. Linear Function: Any function whose graph passes through the origin (0,0). Identity Function: Type of Linear function where the slope is equal to 1 (and linear coefficient is zero). Constant Function: Function whose slope is equal to 0.
