He's really one of the most striking characters in Naruto and one of those who surprised me the most. By dint of being mentioned in the story, by dint of teasing, he's really THE character who raised the greatest expectations and the least we can say is that he didn't disappoint! Presented as a legend of the Shinobi world, as the equal of the first Hokage, we expected something big but we were still far from imagining the real abilities of the character. In addition to his warlord look that commands respect, the fact that he single-handedly faces an entire army was totally incredible. He showed his superiority against ninjas in hand-to-hand combat, he demolished the different Kages single-handedly and he stood up to Hashirama Senju, the god of Shinobi. But by dint of seeing him achieve his feats, I really wondered how this could be possible and if I had missed something by reading Naruto? Why is Madara so strong and above all, what are the powers of his mangekyou sharingan? And yes! Because that is something that has never been revealed!
