I wrote about nostalgia on my Instagram more than a year ago: Adulthood is a package. You can't accept some things, you can't accept some things. Of course, you can be unhappy. You can complain about the unfair conditions of the world (it's unfair. Always. Everywhere in the world). But you can't deny some realities. For example, nostalgia is tied to adulthood. You can't be upset with people for going about their lives. You can't feel abandoned or treated like someone treated you. We shouldn't make people feel guilty for going about their lives. We can't imagine that "they're leaving us alone"; because really: It's not about us, it's not personal. Our minds specialize in dramatizing issues. In creating catastrophes. Instead, we need to find a way to embrace nostalgia and learn how to live with it like a part of our body. . I miss so many people every day. I miss so many places. (Even though I haven't seen or experienced many of them.) If I let my mind throw me into a cycle of passivity, where I fall out of life out of longing and sadness; I'm sure I can handle it very well! . I enjoy watching people move. People create stories in their movement. And I take the time to sit by this story and listen and learn. Every day I remind myself: It is what it is. Take a step back, watch 'n enjoy :) .
