It was our last day in Egypt. We thought everything was going to go well: we paid for a private tour, without negotiating, so we could enjoy a quiet day, but in the end our guide ended up scamming us. We thought nothing could go wrong today, but they always find new ways to trick tourists, and this time we fell for it. We want to share with you how our experience was. We are in Luxor, one of the most famous cities in Egypt and one of the most important for Egyptian civilization. Today we will tour the famous Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of the Egyptian pharaohs are located; we will visit the Valley of the Queens, the Valley of the Artisans and the Valley of the Nobles. While we explore these emblematic sites, we will tell you curious facts about Egyptian civilization and why it was so important to the history of humanity. In addition, we will tell you what exactly happened for us to be scammed, what our mistake was, what we did not do well, what we took for granted or did not see coming.
