Wang Woradit is the residence of His Royal Highness Prince Damrong Rajanubhab. It is located on Lan Luang Road in Nang Loeng area. In the past, the area was called Sanam Kwai area. This area has been an entertainment district since the early Rattanakosin period and became more prominent since the reign of King Rama III, which was full of Khon, Likay, and Manora troupes. The performances have been developed and changed with the times until the present day, where traces of the Chatri, Khon, and Likay troupes still remain in the area and perform at various events. His Royal Highness Prince Damrong Rajanubhab was the first Thai to be honored by UNESCO as an important person of the world. He wrote many textbooks on history and archaeology, including works related to Siamese dramas, such as the Inao drama legend, the Mohori Piphat legend, and the Fon dance manual. The Fon dance manual is another work that is very important to Thai dance. He ordered the drawing of basic dance postures and the photography of dance postures, which is considered the first photographic recording of dance postures. And it has been developed further to create connecting postures that have become movements, becoming a major dance set that students of dance must practice as well. In addition to the dance textbook, another thing that His Royal Highness Prince Damrong Rajanubhab has done for the drama industry of Siam is to have an idea to record Thai songs in the form of international notes by having music teachers from various schools participate in recording the notes. It is an important record that preserves ancient Thai songs from disappearing.
