Wakamiya, a branch shrine of Kasuga Taisha Shrine, a World Heritage Site, is holding a Shinto ritual called "Shikinen Zotai" once every 20 years. Wakamiya is known in Nara for the "Kasuga Wakamiya On-matsuri". We were given a special tour of the site where work is underway to rebuild the new main hall.
