The history of life on Earth and that of fire are closely linked: volcanism is at the origin of the formation of the first organic molecules and the appearance of life on Earth. In 2010, the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyafjallajokull caused a vast economic disorder by paralyzing one of the densest air networks in the world for several days. Through spectacular aerial images, this film attempts to understand which volcano could be the next to wake up and what the consequences of a major eruption could be. The world has just realized that beneath Iceland lies a colossal power, the Icelanders, for their part, have learned to live among their volcanoes for centuries.
