In this video, AI expert Nerea Luis Mingueza reveals the myths and realities about an expanding technological world. Nerea Luis's beginnings in the field of computing have to do with her childhood memories, when she built cardboard computers with her sister and was a faithful follower of the manga series 'Sailor Moon', where the warrior Sailor Mercury saved the world with a small computer. Anime, the arrival of the Internet and the creation of her own website during high school guided her steps towards Computer Engineering. With a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and a Master's in Computer Science and Technology, her areas of specialization range from AI to robotics and virtual reality, areas in which she has developed her professional career in recent years, in projects related to Natural Language Processing and Artificial Vision. Her dissemination work, which she has carried out on radio, television and conference programs, has been recognized by Google, the Royal Family and Forbes. In 2013 she co-founded the free science and technology event T3chFest and since 2017 she has been part of the COTEC Foundation and the Science in Parliament initiative as an expert in new technologies and gender. Dr. Luis is a professor at several universities, is part of the Artificial Intelligence Consulting, Outreach and Advisory team at the Carlos III University of Madrid, and has recently joined Ashoka's Artificial Intelligence advisory board. #Let'sLearnTogether
