Welcome everyone to this new video in France, where we will travel through the beautiful landscapes of Alsace between Strasbourg and Nancy, on the old line 1 of the former Eastern network. This journey was made on board a BB26000 accompanied by very mild weather. Shortly after departure, in Vendenheim, the line quickly separates from the LGV Est-Européenne. The terrain is relatively flat until there, where we cross the Alsace plain. Up to Réding, our line is in common with the old line 3 Zoufftgen - Basel. The profile is then very interesting and tormented around the Vosges massif. After Sarrebourg, the line takes the famous Héming flyover, which reverses the direction of travel of the trains. It is a very wooded region that our train then crosses before reaching Blainville, where beyond, the line runs along the Meurthe and crosses a vast industrial zone before reaching Nancy, our terminus.
