Heritage journal Haarlemmermeer, season 3, episode 3 (3-7-24): • In Amsterdam they called it 'Haarlem Tram', outside it 'Blue Tram': the legendary NZH tram Amsterdam-Zandvoort, from the Spui in Amsterdam, via Halfweg, almost to the beach. And back again, for 53 years and with some 20,000 to 30,000 passengers every day. In our section Bij de Buren we are firmly on its trail. Plus its late descendant, which is now under construction in Haarlem. Will it run again? • Story poles in the landscape of Haarlemmermeer mark important historical places. Together they form a major cycling and inspiration network.
