More than fishermen, the Tofinu are water farmers. All around Ganvié, they cultivate fish pens that are like plots of sea. By planting palm branches in their salt lake, they invented the acadjas, an artificial mangrove that has provided their livelihood for 3 centuries. After several months of waiting, Baba Fudji's acadja is ready for exploitation.
