We regularly hear stories of Muslims who come to faith in countries far away, because they receive a revelation from God. We rarely hear such stories in our own country, but the same thing happens here too. Samira, born in Tilburg in a Muslim family, has a special experience one night that turns her life upside down. A bright light fills her room and she cries out to God to be allowed to live! For a while she tries to find out what happened that night - and why her behavior changed so much because of that event... until she finds the answer! This powerful story not only shows her conversion and surrender to Jesus. It also shows how big the gap can sometimes be between church tradition and the biblical command. Precisely because Samira was completely unfamiliar with the customs within the church, but only had the Bible and the guidance of the Holy Spirit at her disposal, this becomes painfully clear.
