The story sparked outrage this week. In Paris, a young mother and her baby were evicted by their landlord from a 4 m2 apartment that the young woman paid 200 euros per month for. A case that revealed the scandal of these tiny spaces rented at exorbitant prices. There are said to be hundreds of them in Paris alone. However, the law prohibits renting a property of less than 9 m2 but there are no checks. And these unworthy but very profitable homes are highly prized by some investors.
