The new Judicial Office represents a remodelling of the organisation of an instrumental nature that serves as support and back-up for the jurisdictional activity of Judges and Courts and which revolves around two Units: 1.- the Direct Support Procedural Units (UPAD) that directly assist Judges and Magistrates and form part of the judicial body and 2.- the Common Procedural Services that are common because they are not integrated into a specific judicial body and assume centralised tasks of management and support in actions derived from the application of procedural laws. Without being included in the judicial office, Administrative Units are also created with functions of leadership and organisation of human and material resources. (Articles 435 and 439 of Organic Law 6/1985, of July 1, of the Judiciary - LOPJ).
